The Glasfloss Z-Line Series MR-13 pleated air filter features the latest in media technology to achieve MERV 13 while maintaining low pressure drop and long service life. The new MR-13 pleat is optimized for “LEED” compliance in new and existing buildings as well as providing a cost effective upgrade from lower efficiency pleated filters for a variety of commercial and industrial applications. The MR-13 pleat is available in many standard and special face dimensions in 2” and 4” depths.
Glasfloss Z-Line Series MR-13 filtration media incorporates 100% synthetic fibers which are electrostatically charged, thermally bonded and are manufactured in an engineered gradient structure. The thermally-bonded fibers do not absorb moisture and will not support microbial growth. The engineered grading structure media supports high dust-holding capacity and long filter service life. ZLine Series MR-13 media is laminated to a heavy-duty, galvanized, rust-resistant metal backing that stabilizes the media during operation. The pleats are formed in a radial configuration to ensure proper dust-loading. The pleated media pack is adhered to the peripheral interior of a heavy-duty beverageboard die-cut frame to prevent air bypass. The beverage-board frame creates a double-wall thickness around the perimeter of the filter.
The Glasfloss Z-Line Series MR-13 was developed to comply with “LEED” standards in new and existing buildings. Additionally, the Z-Line Series MR-13 is a cost effective upgrade from standard pleated filters, poly ring panels and other lower efficiency panel filters and can be used is a wide variety of existing applications without modification to the existing equipment.
